Kumail Rizvi is a multifaceted creative professional, seamlessly blending the worlds of architecture, illustration, and storytelling. As a Part 3 architectural assistant at McBains, with previous experience at Arup, Kumail brings a keen eye for design and visuals to his work.

Beyond the realm of architecture, Kumail is an accomplished illustrator and graphic novelist. His innovative project “Kahlil” – reimagining Superman’s origin in Karachi instead of Kansas – has garnered international attention, featuring on platforms such as Buzzfeed, BBC World Service, BBC Asian Network, Newsarama, and Graphic Policy.

Kumail’s talent extends to screenwriting, where he has achieved notable recognition in prestigious competitions. His accolades include being a Semifinalist in the ScreenCraft TV Pilot Script Competition 2024, a Quarterfinalist in the WeScreenplay Diverse Voices Lab Fall 2023, and a Finalist and Honorable Mention in the WeScreenplay TV Pilot Lab 2024.
